Sirkuit Panjat Tebing se Kabupaten Sleman I "Mapala UPN YK"

Bila tidak ada aral melintang, FPTI Sleman bekerja sama dengan Mapala UPN Yogyakarta akan menggelar kompetisi berupa, "Sirkuit Panjat Tebing se Kabupaten Sleman I "Mapala UPN YK" pada tanggal 24 sd 25 Februari 2008 di Papan Panjat Mapala UPN Yogyakarta. Kompetisi ini diperuntukkan bagi pemanjat asal klub di kabupaten sleman termasuk mapala dan sispala yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta.

Sebelum pelaksanaam kompetisi dimulai akan diadakan kursus juri jalur fpti Sleman 2008 dimana para pesertanya akan diakui sebagai wasit atau juri dan juri jalur di tingkat cabang setelah melalui proses magang.

Untuk itu bagi para atlet dan juga bagi para komunitas panjat sleman yang ingin mengikuti kompetisi atau mengikuti kursus juri jalur dipersilahkan menghubungi Mapala UPN Yogyakarta yang dalam seri 1 ini bertindak sebagai tuan rumah.

KONI/KOI Fokus Persiapkan Atlet

Jakarta (SINDO)-KONI/KOI tidak akan mempermasalahkan proses penunjukan Chief de Mission (CDM) Olimpiade Beijing 2008 Rosihan Arsyad oleh Kementerian Negara Pemuda dan Olahraga(Kemenegpora). Induk organisasi olahraga Indonesia itu memilih fokus mempersiapkan atlet dengan dana superterbatas.

Meski begitu, Ketua Umum KONI/KOI Rita Subowo tetap akan melakukan diskusi dengan Kemenegpora mengenai siapa yang akan mengatur kontingen Indonesia di multievent antarbenua tersebut.

"Kita lihat saja nanti, apakah KONI/KOI atau Kemenegpora yang akan mengatur. Intinya kami akan duduk bersama untuk membahas masalah ini,"kata Rita, saat melantik Federasi Panjat Tebing Indonesia (FPTI) kepada wartawan, kemarin.

Di luar itu persiapan Merah Putih menjalani pemusatan latihan telah berlangsung. Bahkan dia berupaya maksimal agar dana Rp35 miliar yang telah digelontorkan pemerintah dapat dipergunakan untuk persiapan dan keberangkatan cabang-cabang olahraga yang dipastikan ke Beijing.

Meski begitu Rita tak membantah jika dana tersebut terbilang minim untuk memfasilitasi sekitar 40-60 atlet yang berangkat dari 100 atlet yang dipersiapkan. Apalagi pemusatan latihan, uji coba, pengiriman atlet, hingga persiapan fasilitas memang membutuhkan dana yang tidak sedikit.

"Jumlah itu tentu minim. Dan kini kami akan berupaya mencari dan bekerja sama dengan pihak sponsor. Itu merupakan alternatif untuk menyiasati dana yang minim,"ujar mantan Sekjen KONI pusat itu. Sponsor yang akan didapat pun rencananya menjadi bonus bagi atlet yang merebut medali, yakni Rp 1 miliar (emas), Rp500juta (perak) dan Rp 250juta (perunggu).

Sementara itu, Rosihan yang juga Sekjen KONI menjelaskan, minimnya dana berdampak pada persiapan atlet. Beruntung Pengurus Besar (PB) dapat meyiasati dengan melakukan persiapan atlet di tempat sama seperti SEA Games 2007.

Rita juga berharap kerja sama dengan National Olympic Committee (NOC) negara lain seperti Korea, bagi pelatnas taekwondo menjadi sinyalemen positif bagi persiapan tim Indonesia menuju Beijing, Cina.

Panjat Tebing PON XVI Kaltim 2008

Panjat tebing di PON XVI Kaltim 2008 akan memperebutkan 21 medali emas yaitu terdiri dari:

1. rintisan perorangan putra-putri (2 emas)
2. kecepatan perorangan putra-putri (2 emas)
3. jalur-pendek perorangan putra-putri (2 emas)
4. rintisan beregu putra-putri (2 emas)
5. kecepatan beregu putra-putri (2 emas)
6. jalur-pendek beregu putra-putri (2 emas)
7. rintisan campuran (1 emas)
8. kecepatan Campuran (1 emas)
9. jalur-pendek campuran (1 emas)
10. Kecepatan estafet putra-putri (2 emas)
11. rintisan berantai putra-putri (2 emas)
12. rintisan berantai capuran (1 emas)
13. kecepatan estafet campuran (1 emas)

Kecepatan akan mulai menggunakan fasilitas standard yaitu ketinggian 15meter dan sudut kemiringan 5 derajat, dengan poin standard IFSC. Dengan dindingan yang standard maka FPTI akan mulai mencetak panjat tebing sebagai olahraga setara dengan atletik...nantinya akan lahir record PON dan rekor nasional untuk ketinggian dinding tertentu..rekor Asia utk 10m saat ini dipegang oleh Erianto Rojak (DKI Jakarta) dengan catatan waktu 6.46 detik.

Bukan tidak mungkin pada PON 2012 di Riau panjat tebing akan menambah jumlah medali emas yang diperebutkan, terutama akbat adanya dinding kategori kecepatan yang standard tersebut. Nomor yg baru dibandingkan PON sebelumnya adalah rintisan berantai dan kecepatan estafet, sebelumnya panjat tebing hanya memperebutkan 14 medali emas. FPTI mendapat kuota 140 atlit (belum termasuk atlit tuan rumah Propinsi Kaltim). Panjat tebing telah menjadi cabang di PON sejak 1996 Jakarta sebagai nomor eksibisi, baru pada PON 2000 Jawa Timur panjat tebing menjadi cabang resmi (tapi dengan biaya penyelenggaraan mandiri), dan mulai PON 2004 Sumsel panjat tebing menjadi cabang olahraga resmi PON.

Kampanye Keselataman Kerja di Ketinggian (Work-at-Heiht Safety Campaign)

Banyak kejadian kecelakaan kerja di ketinggian lebih disebabkan karena para pekerja sama sekali tidak mempunyai pengetahuan dasar mengenai keselamatan kerja di ketinggian. Banyak aturan mengenai keselamatan kerja di ketinggian yang ada masih sangat minim menyentuh mengenai keselamatan kerja di ketinggian atau teknologi keselamatan yang diterapkan sudah tidak valid.

Di banyak kegiatan kerja di ketinggian masih ditemukan penggunaan tali statik sebagai pengaman, suatu hal yang seharusnya dihindari. Kita sering melihat di jalan para pekerja yang memperbaiki jaringan telekomunikasi atau jaringan listrik masih menggunakan lanyard statik sebagai pengaman ketika melakukan pemanjatan. Atau lebih sering kita lihat para pekerja menaiki tangga menara telekomunikasi tanpa pengaman sama sekali.

Faktor penting yang tidak kalah menariknya yang bisa disebut sebagai sumber kecelakaan kerja adalah mahalnya peralatan pengaman pribadi (personal protection equipment, PPE) yang ada di pasaran. Jika pun ada yang murah, tapi tidak mempunyai standar yang jelas. Seringkalo para pekerja melakukan improvisasi dengan membuat PPE sendiri menggunakan material yang dikenalnya misalnya tali statik yang diikat ke tubuh yang batas keselamatannya tidak jelas. Dengan tingkat harga PPE yang tidak murah jelas membuat pengusaha menjadi kurang peduli dengan keselamatan para pekerjanya.

Berdasarkan fakta tersebut Asosiasi Ahli Keselamatan Kerja Bangunan Tinggi (A2K2BT) berinisiatif untuk mulai melakukan kegiatan penyadaran akan pentingnya keselamatan kerja di ketinggian. A2K2BT mempunyai kayakinan bahwa kegiatan kerja di ketinggian adalah suatu medan kerja yang tidak-biasa sehingga harus ditangani dengan cara berpikir, strategi dan teknis keselamatan kerja yang juga specifik. Kegiatan penyadaran dikemas dalam bentuk kampanye pelatihan kerja di ketinggian.

Target dari kampanye adalah memberikan pelatihan dasar bagi para pekerja di sektor hiburan dan konstruksi agar mempunyai kompetensi minimal dalam melakukan kegiatan kerja di ketinggian. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini pekerja akan diberikan sertifikat kompetensi kerja di ketinggian serta akan mendapat peralatan pengaman diri (personal protection equipment, PPE) minimal hasil rancangan para ahli keselamatan kerja di ketinggian yang berasal dari Yayasan Skygers Indonesia.

Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini dalam waktu 5 tahun yang akan datang tingkat kecelakaan kerja di ketinggian yang berakibat fatal (dimana korban meninggal dunia) di Indonesia dapat berkurang dari tingkat yang ada sekarang yaitu 5 kecelakaan per hari yang merupakan tertinggi nomor 2 di dunia setelah Cina.

Standard Kepelatihan Olahraga Panjat Tebing

Panjat tebing telah menjadi cabang resmi Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) sejak tahun 2000. Pada PON Palembang 2004 cabor panjat tebing memperebutkan 14 medali emas, dan pada PON 2008 Kaltim yang akan datang emas yang diperebutkan bertambah menjadi 21. Dengan banyaknya jumlah medali emas jelas cabor panjat tebing menjadi menarik untuk dikembangkan di suatu propinsi.

Sampai saat ini semua orang boleh menyebut dirinya pelatih panjat tebing, karena memang tidak ada aturan untuk mendefinisikan kata 'pelatih panjat tebing', hasilnya panjat tebing suatu saat dapat menjadi satu kegiatan yang penuh ketidakpastian.

Saat ini ada 32 pengda FPTI dan 185 pengcab, berarti ada kebutuhan sedikitnya 200 pelatih panjat tebing untuk menghadapi PON dan PORPROP. Belum lagi pelatih panjat tebing untuk tingkat klub, sekolah atau universitas.

Hal tersebut diatas jika tidak disikapi dengan bijaksana dapat membuat cabor panjat tebing mempunyai citra buruk di masyarakat (apa lagi jika mengingat panjat tebing mempunyai tingkat risiko yang tidak-dapat diremehkan), karena itulah FPTI sebagai organisasi yang paling berkepentingan dengan perkembangan olahraga panjat tebing Indonesia merasa perlu dengan standard kepelatihan olahraga panjat tebing. Diharapkan dengan lahirnya standard, akan tercipta pelatih yang mempunyai kompetensi yang obyektif dan terukut yang akhirnya akan meningkatkan prestasi panjat tebing Indonesia.
